Today, the business is firmly established and occupies 2000m² premises in Wadeville, Germiston.

The heat treatment plant is backed by a fully equipped laboratory with facilities for test specimen preparation, microhardness testing, carbon determination, microscopes, process control apparatus etc.

Heat treatment processes include gas nitriding, stress relieving, annealing, normalising, hardening and tempering, spheroidizing, carburizing, liquid-nitriding, nitro-carburising, carbo-nitriding, tufftriding, marquenching, austempering, martempering, sherardizing, manganese and zinc phosphating, special surface coatings such as ceramic and molybdenum di-sulphide for un-lubricated wear applications and induction hardening.

In addition, solutionizing and ageing treatments for non-ferrous materials and stainless steels are carried out.
